First markets of the season

Busy weekend last weekend – 3 markets at Shrewsbury, Rode Hall & Market Drayton.  Good to see old friends at each of them, though some disappointment that we’re not doing veg plugs this year.

Stafford tomorrow. & the first tomato plants are ready; again, a restricted range this year, but some nice varieties.  Glorious weather today (finally got a tunnel re-covered, & the solar panels generated their most since last August) – so let’s hope it continues, though we do of course need rain as wel . . .
